Our Story

Created from a mother’s love, made to become a family heirloom. MINA MAE began with my daughter.

When I became a mum, I found myself wanting somewhere beautiful to capture all those little moments I knew I would never want to forget. The first smile, the tiny details, the milestones, the funny little things they say and do — the moments that feel so ordinary at the time, but become the memories you treasure most.

I wanted a memory book that felt as special as the memories themselves. Something timeless, beautifully made and considered in every detail. Something I would genuinely love to keep on our bookshelf for years to come, and eventually hand to my daughter when she was grown.

But I couldn’t quite find what I had imagined.

So, while on maternity leave, I decided to create it myself.

And so, MINA MAE was born.

MINA MAE was inspired by my daughter, and the name holds a very special place in our story. It was a little reminder of the love that inspired me to create the brand in the first place.

What started as one idea, created around my daughter and inspired by my own love of beautiful, timeless design, has grown into something I could never have imagined.

Three years later, MINA MAE has blossomed into a beautiful and growing baby memory book and keepsake brand, with more than 4,000 books sold, over five book collections, and a wonderful community of mums, parents and expectant families who continue to support us and share their own stories with us.

What began as a little idea during maternity leave has become something I’m incredibly proud of.
